Nolanville Invites Volunteers to Join the 2025 Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-Off

NOLANVILLE, Texas (March 21, 2025) The City of Nolanville and Keep Nolanville Beautiful invites all residents, families, and community groups to participate in the 2025 Don t Mess with Texas Trash-Off on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Volunteers will meet at CEFCO, 100 S. Main St., Nolanville, Texas 76559 for check-in and supplies. Participants can enjoy FREE coffee provided by CEFCO before heading out to clean designated areas throughout the community. As part of the Keep Texas Beautiful initiative, this annual event is Texas largest one-day litter cleanup effort. To add some fun, volunteers will have a chance to win the "Award for Most Unusual Item Found" during the cleanup. "We re proud to be part of this statewide event that inspires community pride and environmental responsibility, said Teresa Chandler, City Manager. It s a great way for neighbors, families, and local organizations to make a positive impact right here at home. Event Details: Date: Saturday, April 5, 2025 Time: 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. Location: CEFCO, 100 S. Main St., Nolanville, TX 76559 Hashtag: #keepnolanvillebeautiful Supplies will be provided. NOLANVILLE, Texas (March 12, 2025) The City of Nolanville and Keep Nolanville Beautiful are pleased to invite the community to celebrate nature and conservation at the 5th Annual Monarch Festival on Saturday, April 12, from 9 AM to 12 PM. This free, family-friendly event highlights the importance of pollinators and provides a morning of fun, education, and interactive experiences for all ages. Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of activities, including: Live DJ Face Painting Free Kites Given to the first attendees Vendors Kid Zone The Monarch Festival is a great opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and learn about the vital role pollinators play in our environment, said Teresa Chandler, City Manager of Nolanville. We are excited to welcome families, vendors, and organizations to this year s event for a fun and engaging experience. The City of Nolanville and Keep Nolanville Beautiful are also accepting vendor applications, which can be found on the City of Nolanville s website. City of Nolanville Appoints Teresa Chandler as City Manager

NOLANVILLE , Texas (November 7, 2024) - The City of Nolanville is proud to announce the appointment of Teresa Chandler as City Manager, effective November 7, 2024. Chandler has been serving as Interim City Manager since April 2024, following the departure of Kara Escajeda, who led Nolanville with dedication for nine years. Chandler, who previously held the position of City Secretary, joined the Nolanville team in 2022. Known for her strong leadership and commitment to public service, she has played an essential role in city operations, earning the respect of colleagues and community members alike. As Interim City Manager, she successfully maintained the momentum of key initiatives, overseeing city operations with dedication and a clear vision for the future. I am honored and excited to officially step into the role of City Manager for Nolanville, said Chandler. I look forward to building upon the incredible work of my predecessors, working closely with our dedicated city staff, elected officials, and our wonderful community. Together, we ll continue to make Nolanville an even better place to live, work, and thrive. Mayor Andy Williams also expressed his enthusiasm for Chandler s appointment: Teresa has shown exceptional leadership and dedication to our community. Her deep understanding of city operations and her commitment to our residents make her an excellent choice to lead Nolanville forward. We are excited to see the positive impact she will continue to make.
